Pawan Kalyan, Jayant movie Filming at Mysore

The latest schedule of Pawan Kalyan’s forthcoming film, tentatively titled as Lovely is currently being shot at Mysore. It is known that the film is the remake of Bollywood film Love Aaj Kal and Pawan Kalyan will be seen in dual roles in the film.

Trisha is reprising the role of Deepika Padukone in the film and it is her full length film opposite Pawan Kalyan after a cameo role in Bangaram. Kriti Kharbanda is playing the other female lead role in the film. Kirti, who failed to make her mark in Tollywood with her debut film Boni, is looking for a break with this film. The movie is being made under the banner Parameshwara Arts.

A real Gaganam(the title works)

Nagarjuna staring Gaganam is a real ‘gananam’ for the film makers.  Actually the movie was supposed to release for December but has postponed to 4^th February.  Well, now the latest buzz says it’s again postponed by a week and is to release on 11^th, February.
One hears that one of the reasons for the postponement could be the release of RGV’s directorial KSD Appalraju, which is hitting the screens on 4^th February.    In order to avoid the clash with KSDA film, producer Dil Raju has postponed the release date of Gaganam by a week. But now both the movies after too many postponements are set to release on 11^th February.  So, the strategy didn’t work out!
The movie is coming up in Telugu and Tamil versions where the director Radha Mohan is directing for both the languages.

Arundhati romances Robo

Anushka is finalized for Superstar Rajanikanth’s next venture Rana.  The movie is directed by K.S.Ravikumar, cinematography by R. Rathnavelu and music by A.R.Rahman. This will be produced by Ocher Picture Productions and Eros International. This multilingual film (Tamil, Telugu and Hindi) will start shooting in March-2011 and will be ready for release in 2012.

We cannot confirm it as of now but the mills are working overtime about Gemini Film Circuits up-coming Telugu Version of 3 Idiots, will cast Mahesh Babu while Surya will be in both Tamil and Telugu Versions. The Kollywood will have a surprise for this venture in the form of re-entry of Vijay.
It seems Director Shankar and Gemini film Circuit team are having real tough time. Is Mahesh back in Telugu version of the film? Either Gemini Film Circuit team or Mahesh has to confirm this news yet. Few scenes on other finalized cast Jeeva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj and female lead Ileana are being canned currently at Ooty.

Shakti to release on March 31

Jr.NTR’s forthcoming movie Shakti is about to finish it’s shooting. The female lead for the film is Ileana. It’s the second film for Ileana with NTR .Jr first being Rakhi. The movie is directed by Meher Ramesh and produced by Aswini Dutt on Vyjayanthi Movies banner.

Speaking with media the director Meher Ramesh says that the movie has lots of visual effects that will please all the age groups. The movie has Bollywood stars-Jackie Shroff, Sonu Sood, Manjari Phadnis and Pooja Bedi in important roles.

The movie is wrapping up at the earliest so as to release by March 31st.

Poonam Kaur`s dream

Who doesn’t have a dream to see Mahesh? Who doesn’t wish to act with Mahesh? The Punjabi girl Poonam Kaur has a long time wish as others to work with Mahesh Babu the Prince. The optimistic girl believes that a day will come for her dream to come true. Poonam Kaur has a yet to release film Gaganam as of now.

Magadheera as Dheera

The block buster movie of Ram Charan’s Magadheera is being dubbed into Malayalam.  The movie is titled as Dheera.  But as Allu Arjun has a bigger name at the Malluwood compared to Chiranjeevi and Charan, the film makers added cleverly Allu Arjun’s name to the film. The poster goes with the picture of Allu Arjun and is written as Allu Arjun is the presenter of the film.

SJ Surya not only director-actor but…

SJ Surya, the director-actor is right now making a new flick in Tamil titled Isai after a gap of five years. For this movie apart from being the director and actor Surya is showing his phase as a Musician too.
Surya has debuted as a director with Vaali is much inclined towards acting. Later he became a hero with the movies like New, Aa… Aaa etc,.  Even Surya is not new to Tollywood he resurfaced directing Pawan Kalyan hit film ‘Puli’.

‘Midnight’s Children’ renamed as ‘Winds of Change’

Siddarth is going international with Canadian writer-director Deepa Mehta’s film adaptation of “ Midnight’s Children” a famous novel written by Booker Prize winner Salman Rushdie.  The title of the film is renamed as Winds of Change.  The other cast in the movie include Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher, Soha Ali Khan, Rahul Bose, Irrfan Khan, Nandita Das and so on.
‘Midnight’s Children’ portrays India through the eyes of protagonist Saleem Sinai, whose birthday coincides with Independence Day, August 15th.  The story depicts the events of pre and post independence including the partition of India. The movie is soon to set the floors.
Deepa Mehta, who made films like Earth, Fire and Water, is also one of the five Oscar nominees in the ‘Best Foreign Film’ category in 2005 for the movie Water.

Kandireega at a fast pace

Ram and Hansika Motwani’s upcoming film Kandireega is continuing at a fast pace ever since its shooting resumed after Sankranthi.  The movie is directed by Santosh Srinivas and is produced by Bellamkonda Suresh on Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner.
Chakri is scoring music for the film and it’s the third movie for Chakri with Ram the first two being Devdas and Maska which are ultimate musical hits.
Besides Kandireega, Ram has two other flicks with the directors Gautham Menon and Karunakaran.   Gautham Menon is bringing a bilingual movie for Ram and the duo paired up for the movie Maska in the past.

SS Rajamouli and Chiranjeevi @VIT

The blockbuster director, SS Rajamouli was invited as a judge for a Film Festival at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).  It’s an annual cultural fest-Riviera 11 a four day festival from 30th January to 2nd February.  Being much impressed by the performances and the campus Rajamouli said, “Had a wonderful time at VIT which has a fantastic campus, and I’m much thrilled by the infrastructure and its maintenance. I am much glad to see every youngster brimming with confidence. Guess attaining a seat in VIT is an achievement which gives them so much of confidence. Thank you VITians.”   The event was very exciting for the students with the presence of Rajamouli said one of the student’s.
